- The European Commission may offer financial support to selected students. The amount of the monthly grant is determined each year by the National Agency and announced in the Application Guide.
- Students are required to sign “Erasmus Grant Agreement” to receive their Erasmus grant.
- The students who benefit from the EU grant will provide the office with their Euro bank account (Deniz bank) details with an official document and following this, a Grant Agreement is formed and signed by both ABU and the student.
- Upon the completion of signatures, 80% of the total grant is transferred to the student’s account. 20% is paid after the student fulfill all the requirements, if not, remaining amount will not be transferred. Payments will be made in Euros.
- Paid financial support in not meant to be reimburse, it is for financial assistance for mobility.
- The real amount is calculated according to documents that students submit to International Programs Office at the end of their program.
- Actual Erasmus Study/Training Mobility period will be calculated according to “Letter of Confirmation” - document supposed to be prepared by host institution and entry – exit stamps on the student passport.
- Students who received their Erasmus grant but not able to attend or complete the program for any reason are required to refund grant within 15 days.
